Featured Artist: Kathy Lam Kit Yee

Lam Kit Yee Kathy (b.1999) is a Hong Kong-based visual artist. She obtained a BFA in Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2023.

林潔儀 Kathy（出生於1999年）2023 年於香港浸會大學畢業，獲得視覺藝術學士學位。

Upon graduation, she embarked on a transformative artistic and personal journey by participating in an artist residency programme in South Africa, and taking on backpacking adventures across Europe, Thailand, Turkey, and Nepal. During her travels, Lam tirelessly explored the meaning of life and attempted to break down barriers between her self and others. Lam’s artistic expression draws deep inspiration from Buddhism, Hinduism, and tribal cultures. 

同年參與南非陶藝藝術家駐留，隨後背包流浪於歐洲、土耳其、尼泊爾及泰國半年。 林氏在旅途中不斷摸索生命意義及突破自身與陌生人的界限。並深受部落文化、印度教及佛教影響。

Her creative process forms an integral part of her daily spiritual practice, in which she combats nihilistic thoughts and cultivates mindfulness.

她把創作視為日常修煉的一部分，抗衡虛無覺察自身。
