Artist in Focus: Kenneth Tsang

A recipient of the Emerging Texas Artist Award, Kenneth Tsang (b. 1983) graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art. Garnering attention from collectors all over the world, Tsang’s toy portrait series intricately generates emotional heft by centering seemingly inanimate figures amidst naturalistic scenes. 

Having spent time studying art history, drawing and painting in cities such as  Tokyo, Japan and Florence, Tsang currently lives and works in Hong Kong.

Toyol will showcase Kenneth Tsang’s works at Days of Wilderness (13–23 Sep 2024), our group exhibition at Major Pop in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
